LABORATORIUM

LABORATORIUM is a new concert series set at my workplace Sørum farm in Stange where I invite musicians, composers  and the audience to explore new musical ideas. The concerts often include talks, QAs and process-oriented presentations of not yet finished works. In the blog posts below I share some experiences from the LABORATORIUM concerts.

Musicians having visited LABORATRIUM so far include Helga Myhr, Arve Henriksen, Vilde & Inga, Jon Balke, Torben Snekkestad, Tanja Orning, Ane Marthe Sørlien Holen, Ståle Storløkken, and Ayumi Tanaka whom stayed for a two-week residency at Sørum in november 2024.

In the fall of 2025 I will invite the Cikada string quartet to a process-oriented concert exploring ideas from the new work “Requiem for a Star - Cosmic Soundscapes of Destruction and Creation”. Date TBA soon!
