LYDREISE DUO - premiere of the new work “Solstrenger”!

In October I am performing all four concerts of the second part of LYDREISE, in duo with Helga Myhr. The concerts include the second movement of LYDREISE called Solstrenger (Sunstrings), written for double bass, hardanger fiddle and vocal. The work starts out from the hymn Nu rinner solen opp av østerlide, which translates to something like As the sun rises in the East.

We did the first two concerts, in Tolga and Rendalen, October 5/6. It was so inspiring to play duo with Helga again, and I am very happy with how the new work turned out. So was the audience! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the journey. Klevfos and Harpefoss awaits on October 15/16. Looking very much forward!
